SOMERSET, N.J., – April 4, 2017 – PharmScript, a leading pharmacy provider to long-term care and post-acute care facilities, today announced the addition of a new chief financial officer, John McDonough, and executive vice president of operations and growth, Justin Craigie, to its executive team. McDonough will lead PharmScript’s financial operations and strategy, and Craigie will oversee the expansion of all PharmScript pharmacies as well as the integration of new acquisitions; both roles are essential to managing PharmScript’s growth and continued quality pharmacy services.

As chief financial officer, McDonough brings more than 25 years of experience in healthcare financial management. Prior to joining PharmScript, McDonough held several leadership positions within American Renal Associates, a publicly-traded provider of outpatient dialysis services. Serving first as the chief financial officer, and then the chief operating officer, he helped lead the company through significant growth and financial transactions, including the company’s IPO in 2016. Previously, McDonough also served in financial leadership roles at DaVita, Palatin Technologies, MedChem Products, and KPMG. McDonough is a certified public accountant with a bachelor of science in accounting from Bentley College and MBA from Harvard Business School.

As EVP of Operations & Growth, Craigie will be focused on leading company-wide growth initiatives and ensuring PharmScript maintains consistent and quality service across its pharmacies nationwide. He will also be managing the integration of future acquisitions. Craigie joins PharmScript with deep experience assisting healthcare companies scale their operations and access new markets. Most recently, Craigie was a vice president at Summit Partners, a leading global growth equity firm. As a member of Summit’s Peak Performance Group, Craigie partnered with management teams across Summit’s portfolio to identify and execute growth initiatives. With a concentration on healthcare and technology sectors, Craigie has led investments in and worked with Heart to Heart Hospice, My Dentist, and Surgical Affiliates Management Group Inc., among others. Craigie earned a bachelor’s degree from Tufts University.
