The New and Enhanced Pharmacy Will Enable PharmScript to Better Serve Long-term Care Facilities Throughout the Region

SOMERSET, New Jersey, – July 27, 2020 PharmScript, a leading pharmacy provider to long-term care and post-acute care facilities, today, announced the opening of a new and enhanced pharmacy in Tyler, TX. The pharmacy, which will service customers throughout East Texas, is a continuation of strong, consistent growth for PharmScript. The company’s footprint now extends to 19 pharmacies, services customers in 25 states, and provides medications and supplies to more than 100,000 long-term care residents and patients.

On June 1, after outgrowing the nearby pharmacy and offices, the newly expanded Tyler pharmacy opened its doors. The location is now PharmScript’s third-largest pharmacy at 16,500 square feet and features the latest advancements and innovation in the industry.

“Our Tyler expansion aligns with our overall strategic goal of identifying underserved markets and implementing high-quality, customer-centric pharmacies to strengthen facilities that are deeply committed to the long-term care and post-acute care industry,” said Michael Segal, Chief Executive Officer, PharmScript. “We’re proud to serve facilities across the U.S. to help them provide the best care for their residents.”

Motivated by the industry’s need for quality pharmacy services, PharmScript has more than doubled in size over the past five years. To support this growth, the company has expanded to more than 1,700 associates nationally.
