Michael Gerdes

Director of Clinical Systems

Michael Gerdes joined PharmScript in 2011 and currently serves as the Director of Clinical Systems. He brings more than 16 years of experience in the long-term care industry. As the Director of Clinical Systems, his responsibilities include overseeing integrations with electronic health record systems, off-site inventory and automated dispensing cabinets, therapeutic interchange program, and formulary management. Michael is also a FrameworkLTC subject matter expert.

Prior to joining PharmScript, Michael worked at ChemRx as a pharmacy supervisor and a narcotics supervisor at NeighborCare.

Michael earned his bachelor of science in pharmacy at the University of Rhode Island. He is a PointClickCare certified superuser and a member of the Softwriters Advisory Board.

In his free time, Michael enjoys spending time at the beach with his family, hiking with his dog, and rooting for the New York Mets and New York Jets.
