John Camperlengo

Chief Legal Officer

John Camperlengo joined PharmScript in May 2021 as Chief Legal Officer and is responsible for the legal and compliance functions at PharmScript.  John works closely with all members of executive management providing legal and business support to the various functional and corporate departments within the organization.

Prior to joining PharmScript, John worked at Unified Women’s Healthcare, a physician practice management company, as its Chief Legal Officer and Chief Compliance Officer. In this role, John oversaw all legal affairs, which included all general corporate governance activities, merger and acquisition support, auditing, compliance, and risk management.

John has an extensive background as a healthcare executive, with more than 30 years of experience. Before joining Unified, John was the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for Zelis Healthcare Corp., a healthcare technology company. John also served as a judge advocate in the United States Marine Corps, serving in both the active and reserve components. John served for nearly 25 years and retired from the Marine Corps Reserve as a Lieutenant Colonel.

John holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from St. John’s University and a Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law.
