Join us for a webinar on May 15 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm EDT, titled “Positive Case Identified: What to Expect”. PharmScript LLC has partnered with Florida Health Care Association to provide this one-hour webinar from A.C. Burke of RB Health Partners, Inc. who will address the current CDC guidelines on initial management and care of residents who have developed symptoms and/or tested positive.

Michelle Dillehay of the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) will outline the initial notification process, and AHCA’s objectives for the initial visit, with the DOH Rep walking attendees through the DOH process for notification, initial visit and assessment to assist the center in supporting their residents and staff.

This will include a process for monitoring symptoms, how to properly isolate residents who are positive from residents who are not, and determinations for transfers to a hospital. Designating staff and the appropriate personal protective equipment for the care of these residents will also be addressed.
