Daniel Maloney, RPh

 VP of Purchasing

Dan Maloney joined PharmScript in 2016 as vice president of purchasing. In his role, he is responsible for pharmaceutical negotiations and managing the primary wholesaler and group purchasing organization relationships. Dan is also responsible for the establishment and maintenance of the generic pharmaceutical formulary and sourcing strategies. He works closely with the PharmScript operations team to help clients provide cost-effective and clinically appropriate care to residents.

Previously, Dan was senior vice president of pharmaceutical purchasing at Omnicare for more than 20 years. In this role, he was also responsible for pharmaceutical contracting, in both long-term and specialty care, as well as managing the primary wholesaler relationship and sourcing of generics through Omnicare-owned distribution center and repackaging company.

Dan graduated with a bachelor of science degree in pharmacy from the St. Louis College of Pharmacy in 1978. He is a registered pharmacist in Missouri, and serves as an active volunteer for the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
